Custom porcelain and gold heirloom scrolls

Celebrate life’s sparkling moments with custom porcelain and gold heirloom scrolls, a ceramic celebration of life and death and the exceptional events in between… from weddings and births to anniversaries and birthdays.

I create each scroll with love and care, imprinting a delicate lace border into a thin sheet of clay and then rolling it into a unique representation of porcelain parchment. It is kiln fired four separate times, transforming the piece into a fiery reddish-orange that converts the iron oxide text into a cool burnt umber.  Each scroll is finished with a layer of 22kt gold to complete the picture and achieve a uniquely precious piece of heirloom art.
